GTD - Great Website - 43 Folders

The website that I'm going to review today is really top of the class when it comes to Getting Things Done (GTD). I first discovered this site about two years ago and have found it to be incredibly useful. Here's the description of the site from it's home page:

"43 Folders is Merlin Mann’s site about personal productivity, life hacks, and simple ways to make your life a little better."

Google ranks the site a 7 out of 10, which usually means that they consider this site an authority. Based on the quality of the articles and frequency of the posts, I would have to agree with their assessment. The other thing that the high ranking means is traffic. They must be getting some serious traffic.

43 Folders is ranked on Alexa, with a reach of .0078% (reach is the % of global users that access a particular site). This is a great reach for a niche website.

This site definitely comes from a Mac perspective, which is another niche like GTD with an aggressive following. In addition to excellent articles, they have a very active message board.

Be sure to check out the archives when you visit the site as they are loaded with great applications for GTD.

43 folders refers to one for each day of the month, and one for each month I am guessing.
